Week Thirty

They're priming the walls in our final colors; Julie wanted a "splash" of color in the living room...
The hardwood floor planks have been delivered. This is the 3/4" oak planking; now I just need to finish making the 3/4" purpleheart planking!
They delivered the furnace; when will it be working???!!! Originally, the plan was for two furnaces given all the new space in the house, but the heating contractor did a bunch of calculations and argued that a single, two-zone hi-efficiency unit will do. I explained that Julie and I do not like to be cold, and if this doesn't successfully heat the entire house VERY WELL, we're going to make Joe's life a living hell and he, in turn, will make the heating contractor very sorry...until it's done right! But we're trusting the contractor...for now!
