WE'RE IN!  ON JULY 2, 2004, MARK AND JULIE OFFICIALLY MOVED INTO THEIR NEW HOUSE...AND IT'S...OK!!!.

Mark and Julie bought their new home in February of 2002.  They planned to create their dream house by doing a big addition and renovation to the existing structure.

Throughout 2002 they worked to design the new house. As each month drew to a close, they answered the question asked by nearly every friend, family member, and acquaintance by saying: "We hope to break ground next month."  In July of 2002, Mark and Julie even began demolition, taking the cabinets out of the kitchen, tearing out the tile back-splash, etc.  Still, they waited.

Finally, in April of 2003, trustworthy contractor at their side, they began construction!  By clicking the "progress" link on the left, you can join Julie and Mark week-by-week as they moved inexorably toward completion.
